Finance Specialist - Statutory Reporting

Your new company
This European multinational engineering company provides high-quality solutions, technologies and services to their clients.

Your new role
This position is tasked with overseeing the accounting and reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and implementing strong internal controls. This includes preparing various reports and ensuring efficient transaction processing in line with company policies and international standards.

• Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards.
• Submit accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Implement robust internal controls and comply with local statutory requirements.
• Develop, communicate, and enforce accounting and reporting policies and procedures.
• Design and improve accounting processes to enhance quality and reduce costs.
• Support and optimise financial systems used by the Finance team.
• Resolve outstanding audit issues.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement in accounting and reporting.
• Implement and resolve issues related to SAP and other systems.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the line manager.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must possess

• A professional qualification in Accounting & Finance, such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent
• 4 -5 years of working experience in the Accounting & Finance field, preferably from engineering or O&G industries
• Ability to navigate and assimilate in a multinational environment
• Excellent Communication, coaching and mentoring skills
• Strong data presentation and PowerPoint skills
• Fresh Big 4/10 auditors are welcomed to apply
