Jobscope
Participate in architecture definition and lead designing of embedded system products through the product life cycle
Troubleshoot and provide bug fixes promptly to ensure smooth system operation and usability
Perform detailed verification of the design in the lab to ascertain the design margins
Provide technical documentation upon completion of a project or system enhancement
Support business and technical documentation in relation to proposals, procurement, testing and hardware certifications amongst others
Identify the system issues, determine the cause, and implement the solution
Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the system delivered to end-user
Attend project meetings to discuss and about project progress and deliverables and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations
Contribute technical advice & project reporting as a subject matter expert on project teams and provide mentorship for junior team members
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
Knowledge of control system, motor and sensors theory
Had previously completed system and board design for electronics, electrical or mechanical products (added advantage)
Working knowledge of various standards with regard to PCB manufacturing and assembly techniques
Creates complex printed circuit board layouts and documentation from schematics using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
Support Bill of Material (BOM) development for new and updated schematics
Experience in IoT hardware solutions, cloud platform development and IoT security best practices
Experience with embedded systems and OS environments such as RTOS, Linux, Android, Android, Raspberry Pi, Atmel or Arduino
Experience with PLC and able to program using LLD (added advantage)
Experience in communication protocols including I2C, SPI, CAN bus, Modbus, TCP/IP, Web technologies such as RESTful APIs, Web services, API Gateway, MQTT Message Brokers such as RabbitMQ, HiveMQ.
Familiarity with fixed and RF networking technologies including LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, LoRa, NB-IoT and 4G/5G
Passionate about learning and staying updated in emerging IOT, IR4.0 trends and technologies
Experience with PCB Design Software is an advantage

Should have very good debugging skills for hardware/software
Strong lab and benchtop skills for hardware bring-up, testing, and characterization. Signal measurement and test report delivery
Fluency with schematic design
Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile team
