Job summary

Job description

We are hiring for a regional procurement position covering indirect categories across the APAC region. This role will support category strategy development and implementation by working closely with stakeholders across markets, ensuring alignment with business needs and procurement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support category strategies across indirect categories such as HR, professional services, and medical services.
  • Lead and manage regional sourcing projects, including RFPs and commercial terms negotiation.
  • Collaborate with global teams and in-market procurement leads to implement regional strategies effectively.
  • Act as a key liaison for stakeholders and local teams, building strong internal relationships to support procurement initiatives.
  • Leverage market intelligence, supplier performance data, and spend analysis to optimize supplier management and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvements based on business requirements and market insights.
  • Support procurement audits and ensure alignment with compliance and governance standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of regional experience in category management or procurement within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or similar sectors, ideally covering categories such as HR, medical, or professional services.
  • Proven expertise in developing category strategies, along with strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and processes.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across the region.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
