Prepare and review civil & structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for high-rise buildings using both PPVC and conventional systems.

Assist in sketching & developing modular PPVC concepts, including volumetric joint detailing, lifting points, structural integrity, and connection designs.

Provide technical support to project teams during tender, construction, and erection phases, ensuring constructability and compliance with design intent.

Coordinate with C&S consultants, BIM modellers, and site teams to resolve design and construction issues.

Participate in design optimization and value engineering processes to improve cost, speed, and quality of construction.

Support authority submissions and liaise with local bodies (e.g., MBSA, DBKL, IWK, AIS, etc.) for C&S compliance and approvals.

Attend site and coordination meetings, conduct inspections, and provide design clarifications when required.

Review subcontractor shop drawings, method statements, temporary works, and lifting/installation methods for PPVC modules and conventional systems.

Maintain design records and technical reports in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil & structural engineering from a recognized institution.

Registered Graduate/Professional Engineer with BEM.

3–5 years of relevant experience in high-rise C&S design, preferably with exposure to both Precast & PPVC modular systems, including conventional construction. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

Proficient or familiar with structural analysis/design tools: ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Prokon, RAPT, AutoCAD. Revit/Navisworks experience is a plus.

Solid understanding of Malaysian and international codes (e.g., MS EN Eurocodes, BS).

Knowledge of modular design principles, lifting design, connection detailing, and construction sequencing for PPVC.

Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure, independently, and in a team environment.
