About The Role

The E&I Technician will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve plant maintenance and plant improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH, conductivity analyzers, and control valves.
  2. Perform loop checking on centralized I/O PLC and DCS systems.
  3. Commissioning on DCS or PLC I/O systems.
  4. Manage I/O wiring, addressing systems, I/O cards testing and replacement, processor change-outs.
  5. Standby during start-up on specific systems.
  6. Restore plant equipment to normal function after unplanned breakdowns.
  7. Familiarity with all production processes and procedures.
  8. Conduct offline and online inspection of electrical and instrument systems.
  9. Ensure efficient operation of workshop and engineering stores.
  10. Assist E&I Supervisor with electrical and instrument spares ordering, reordering, stock control, and maintaining proper inventory in SAP system.
  11. Ensure all Work Orders, permits to work, and LOTO systems are completed, signed off, and properly documented in SAP before end of shift.
  12. Maintain updated records of plant spare motors for immediate replacement.
  13. Test generator sets, sprinkler, and hydrant diesel pumps weekly, recording results accurately.
  14. Ensure safety, GMP, and good housekeeping practices in workshops and plants.
  15. Practice 5S culture in the workplace.
  16. Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of safety, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, and GMP management systems.
  17. Be available for breakdown calls at all times.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. 0-2 years of experience.
  2. Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
  3. Minimum Certificate in Mechatronics.
  4. Minimum Certificate of Competency as Wireman.
  5. Experience in oleo-chemical or chemical process industries is an advantage.
