E-commerce Manager - must have hands-on experience managing ad buys, managing ROAS (Return on Ads Spend), and analyzing abandoned carts. The candidate must be willing to take a hands-on approach.

Position Summary

We are looking for a key growth enabler for eCommerce to support business growth by developing, overseeing, and executing e-commerce plans, exclusive online launches, managing the existing portfolio of products, and implementing, tracking, and optimizing insight-driven targeting and retargeting campaigns across all online channels.

As an expert, you will use a mix of creativity and strong analytical skills to identify ad optimization, customer journeys, and conversions driven by digital campaigns. Your expertise will help the business acquire, convert, and retain online shoppers.

Key Responsibility Area - Support Ecommerce Execution and Conversion

  1. Plan and optimize all customer acquisition channels (including but not limited to SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Display, Mobile networks).
  2. Analyze data, reports, and trends on consumer insights to understand the best approach to optimize ROAS efficiency.
  3. Based on insights, support the development of integrated marketing and budget plans that meet business objectives.
  4. Oversee the performance marketing budget and ensure optimal allocation of spend across channels, geographies, and the marketing funnel.
  5. Proactively partner with Commercial and Cross-functional teams in deliverables, including KPI tracking and execution.
  6. Manage eCommerce creatives and content, with innovative digital eCommerce strategies that integrate with other marketing functions.
  7. Support the development of digital & social media strategies for the Singapore/Malaysia market to raise brand awareness, drive traffic, and increase sales.
  8. Perform decent copywriting and simple design work.
  9. Offer any ad hoc support to the eCommerce manager as advised.

Mandatory Experience and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of practical Performance Marketing experience with a proven ability to build programs geared towards conversion and work with cross-functional teams on tracking performance, optimization, and landing impact.
  2. Experience working with start-ups, eCommerce platforms, or FMCG is a plus.
  3. Hands-on experience with Performance marketing channels like Facebook ads, On-eCommerce Paid Search, and Affiliate marketing (including influencer marketing).
  4. Familiarity with Google AdWords; Google Analytics Certification is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with CRM, Social Media Management, Marketing Automation, and Engagement is a plus.
  6. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/New Media/Digital Media/Web Development or equivalent; other relevant tertiary qualifications would be advantageous.
  7. Understanding of basic programming in WEB Technology, Java, JQuery, HTML/5, and PHP is a plus.
  8. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data.
  9. Ability to balance being strategic and data-driven, while also being hands-on and creative.
  10. Self-starter – self-motivated, takes initiative, and loves to see the results of their actions.
  11. Interpersonal savvy – ability to establish rapport at all levels, build constructive and effective relationships, and be a good team player.
  12. Negotiation and Conflict Management - negotiates skillfully in tough situations and settles disputes.
  13. Outcome and results-focused.
  14. Ability to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and quickly adapt to business needs and meet tight deadlines.
