Job summary

Akarui Workshop is seeking a Live Streaming Host to manage and host livestream sessions on TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and other platforms. You will plan scripts, engage with viewers, and coordinate with the content and marketing teams.

We welcome fresh graduates. The role requires confidence, energy, and comfort on camera, with BM/EN language skills. On-site studio work and weekend schedules are part of the job, with prior sales/retail experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in live-hosting, sales, or retail is an advantage.
• Confident, cheerful, energetic and comfortable in front of the camera.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
• Experience promoting or selling household products and home appliances is preferred.
• Willing to work on-site at the livestream studio.
• Willing to work according to the assigned livestream schedule, including weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and host livestream sessions on TikTok Shop, Shopee Live and other platforms.
• Prepare scripts and visual assets for hosting live streaming events and QA sessions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content aligned with the strategy.
• Coordinate with content team and social media support team.
• Optimize livestream content using data-driven insights to improve engagement.
