Job summary

Straits International School Penang is seeking a dedicated Homeroom Teacher to join our team. You will deliver high-quality teaching, establish clear routines, and use data to support students while ensuring curriculum coverage and progression.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education or related field with teaching qualification, Mandarin KSSM experience, fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a collaborative approach with staff, parents and students to promote safeguarding and school

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with relevant specialisation or a PGDE/PGDE in Teaching.
Experience teaching KSSM Mandarin, minimum 2 years.
Ability to teach additional subject(s) is encouraged.
Computer literacy with good interpersonal communication skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
