Job summary

LW Capital Sdn Bhd is seeking a Farm Operations Manager to supervise all aspects of durian cultivation, from planting to post-harvest processing, based in Junjung, Kulim and Sg Pinang. You will lead a team, implement schedules, and optimize resource use.

The role requires 2+ years in farm management (preferably durian), a Diploma in Agriculture, and proficiency in English, BM, and Mandarin. Expect a hands-on position with weekend work when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidate possess at least Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent is preferred.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in farm management, preferably in durian.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 6 days per week, including weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of farm production to ensure high-quality durian cultivation, including planting, pruning, harvesting, and post-harvest processing.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment through open communication and ongoing feedback.
• Develop and implement clear work schedules, set team goals, and delegate tasks with specified deadlines to ensure efficient farm operations.
• Oversee day-to-day farm activities, ensuring optimal use of resources, including labor, equipment, and supplies.
• Conduct daily inspections to monitor farm conditions and operations, maintaining accurate records of findings and activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all farming activities, including equipment handling, durian tree health, pest control, and harvesting practices.
