Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail‑driven artwork specialist to design and create layout artwork for stickers and labels, ensuring sharp visuals and print‑ready files. You will work closely with customers to understand design needs, troubleshoot formatting or color issues, and monitor the CTP workflow to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong software skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen eye for quality in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight production deadlines.
• Interest or experience in printing/packaging industry considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Artwork Preparation: Design and create layout artwork for stickers and labels.
• Customer Relations: Communicate closely with customers to understand, refine and meet their design needs.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving formatting, resolution, or colour issues for client artwork and print files.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with production team to ensure smooth artwork and printing workflow.
• CTP Monitoring: Monitor daily CTP (Computer-to-Plate) output to ensure timely delivery schedules.
• Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality checks on films and CTP plates before releasing to production.

Artwork Preparation :

Design and Create layout artwork for stickers and labels.

Customer Relations:

Communicate closely with customers to understand,refine and meet their specific design needs.

Technical Troubleshooting :

Assist in resolving formatting, resolution , or colour issue related to client art work and print files.

Team Collaboration:

Conduct with production team / team members to ensure smooth art work and printing workflow.

CTP Monitoring :

Monitor daily CTP (Computer-to-Plate) output system to ensure timely delivery schedules.

Quality Control :

Conduct rigorous quality checks on films and CTP plate before releasing them to the production floor.

Requirements:

• Software Mastery : High Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design.


• Work Ethic : Able to perform exceptionally well under pressure and comfortably meet tight production deadline.


• Industry Background: Prior Experience or a strong interest in the printing/packaging industry will be a distinct advantage .


• Attributes: Extremely details-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


• Languages: [Optional: e.g., Ability to speak and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin to handle diverse customer artwork requirements].

Working Days:

Monday to Saturday ( Saturday is a half-day)
