Responsibilities:

  1. Assign resources to engagements, involving a high degree of interdependence and mutual trust between the scheduling function, projects, and individuals.
  2. Work closely with engagement leads to help meet business objectives of delivering improved services and value to clients.
  3. Ensure that each engagement team is provided with the best team of people, combining industry experience with technical and functional knowledge for maximum commercial advantage.
  4. Act as the single point of contact for all scheduling matters.
  5. Strike a balance to prioritize business needs while valuing individuals’ preferences.
  6. Work closely with business leaders to outline future assignment plans, staffing issues, and challenges.
  7. Assist portfolio leaders in decision-making by surfacing specific hot-skills required, projected resource crunch, or supply surplus.
  8. Provide various management reports on availability and utilization to management on a weekly basis.
  9. Collaborate with other operation functions, i.e., Human Resource and Recruitment, to manage long-term resource planning and provide inputs for sourcing purposes.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in any discipline, preferably Accounting, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.
  2. Proven experience (2 – 3 years) in resource management or a similar role within a professional services firm is preferred.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and agility.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives is a plus.
  7. A self-starter with a great sense of humor!
