Job Responsibility

  • Safely and efficiently transport company personnel, clients, and/or goods to designated locations within Petaling Jaya and surrounding areas, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle, including regular washing, vacuuming, and interior detailing to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as monitoring fluid levels (oil, water, brake fluid), tire pressure, and lights, and promptly report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Plan and optimize routes using navigation apps and local knowledge to ensure timely arrival at destinations, considering traffic conditions and potential delays.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with luggage or other needs, and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing seatbelts, maintaining a safe following distance, and avoiding distractions while driving.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details, submitting reports as required by company policy.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions, report delays, or request assistance as needed, utilizing both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ensure the vehicle is properly secured and parked in designated areas when not in use, and that all valuables are removed to prevent theft or damage.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license (Class D) with a clean driving record, demonstrating a commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a similar industry or role, showcasing expertise in handling various vehicle types and road conditions.
  • Proficient in vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and performing minor repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently, manage schedules effectively, and adhere to strict deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, enabling effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with navigation tools and techniques, including GPS devices and map reading, to ensure accurate and efficient route planning and execution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety procedures and traffic regulations, with a demonstrated commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive and professional experience for all customers, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and attentiveness.
  • Completion of Secondary/SPM/'O' Level education, providing a solid foundation for understanding instructions, completing paperwork, and communicating effectively.
