Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Drilling SSHE Coordinator to support SSHE and operations risk control activities for an upstream oil & gas project in Sabah.

The role focuses on coordinating SSHE activities across drilling, workover and P&A operations, conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate risk controls in both onshore and offshore environments. The candidate should have strong experience in drilling projects within Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
• 5 years oil & gas experience in PSC environment.
• Experience with offshore drilling activities preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate SSHE activities supporting drilling, workover and Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.
• Coordinate SSHE requirements and activities related to drilling operations.
• Support SSHE risk assessments and the implementation of appropriate risk control measures.
• Coordinate with drilling and operational teams on SSHE matters.
• Support SSHE activities for exploration, development and appraisal drilling projects.
• Monitor and follow up on SSHE actions, requirements and related activities.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of SSHE requirements for assigned drilling activities, whether onshore or offshore.
• Assist in promoting effective SSHE practices across drilling activities.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry within a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) environment.
• Experience in a similar role, or strong familiarity with the requirements of drilling activities offshore Malaysia.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Drilling, Workover and/or Plug & Abandonment (P&A).
• Experience supporting exploration, development and appraisal drilling projects.
