Job summary

Sukiada Engineering is looking for a Draughtsperson to prepare technical drawings and designs for Mechanical and Electrical engineering. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to communicate in Mandarin. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with ISO standards.

Prepare technical drawings, plans, and designs for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering, sales, tender, and project requirements using AutoCAD or other drafting software as directed.

Plot, print, check, amend, and finalize all required drawings in accordance with instructions from supervisors, ensuring timely delivery.

Liaise with relevant departments, site personnel, and external parties regarding drawing issues, updates, or coordination as necessary.

Maintain proper documentation, filing, and drawing records in compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.

Ensure clear communication and status updates for drawing-related matters across departments.

Uphold accountability and responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work delivered on behalf of the company.

Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management, in line with the company's General Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Requirements

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools.

Knowledge of M&E engineering drawings and standards is an advantage.

Ability to speak, read, and write in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking team members, suppliers, and clients.

Good communication, coordination, and time management skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with ISO documentation and filing procedures is an added advantage.
