About the role

This is a contract role for a Draughtsman at K.K.I.P. SDN. BHD' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Draughtsman, you will play a crucial part in the Engineering team, responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans to support the company's engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting project requirements and specifications to create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings accurately reflect project needs

Maintaining and updating drawings as project requirements change

Ensuring all drawings adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations

Providing support and guidance to junior members of the team

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Draughtsman, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to produce technical drawings and plans

Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams

Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
