Job summary

A leading manufacturer of high-quality interior fittings is seeking a Draughtsperson to prepare manufacturing drawings and design layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role will involve collaboration across multiple departments while managing projects and ensuring quality standards. Candidates with a keen eye for detail and project management skills are preferred for this impactful position.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred.
  • Experience in graphic design and relevant CAD software.
  • Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare manufacturing drawings and design layouts.
  • Produce detailed drawings for craftsman.
  • Coordinate departmental activities across Production and Carpentry.

Job description

1. Prepare manufacturing drawings, design layouts and documents

2. Produce the detailed drawings of a design project to show craftsman exactly what is to be done.

3. Draft outline and detailed drawings to the appropriate scale for planning submissions purposes.

4. Use AutoCAD in the preparation of project drawings and/or general arrangement layouts.

5. Work within stated procedures to ensure that design records/controls are maintained.

6.To assist in departmental operations such as Production, Metal, Carpentry, and etc.

7.To execute and coordinate all departmental related activities.
