We are looking for a candidate who has experience as a Drafter using AutoCAD.

Job Description

• Use computer-assisted design (CAD) equipment to develop designs, create, and revise production drawings (Tender Drawings, Construction Drawings, Shop Drawings, Coordination Drawings, As-Built Drawings, etc.).
• Liaise with engineers for drawing updates and changes.
• Understand drawing specifications and written instructions provided by engineers and revise drawings accordingly.
• Assist in material take-offs during tendering, construction, and as-built phases.
• Conduct site visits for as-built drawings; prepare and review rough sketches with the project team.
• Use Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools to develop and revise designs and drawings.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and main contractors, and prepare necessary drawings during meetings.
• Understand electrical and instrumentation installation details and limitations.
• Ensure safety during design and execution phases.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge in electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical installation as a drafter or similar role.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Competency Requirements

• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (2D).
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (3D).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Navisworks Freedom 3D Model.
