Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and create/revise production drawings using CAD.
• Liaise with engineers for drawing updates and changes.
• Conduct site visits for as-built drawings.

Job description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in AutoCAD Drafting.

Job Description

• Use computer-assisted design (CAD) equipment to develop designs and create/revise production drawings such as Tender, Construction, Shop, Coordination, and As-Built Drawings.
• Liaise with engineers for drawing updates and changes.
• Understand drawing specifications and written instructions from engineers; revise drawings accordingly.
• Assist in material take-offs during tendering, construction, and for as-built drawings.
• Conduct site visits for as-built drawings; prepare and review rough sketches with the project team.
• Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to develop and revise designs and drawings.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors; prepare necessary drawings during meetings.
• Understand electrical and instrumentation installation details and limitations.
• Ensure safety behaviors during design and execution phases.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical installations.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Competency Requirements

• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Revit (3D).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiar with Navisworks Freedom 3D modeling.
