Job description

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis
• Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing
• Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists
• Estimate material and production costs for designs
• Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers
• Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
• Developing technical reports for engineers

Authorities

• Prepare and issue engineering drawings for review and approval.
• Recommend design adjustments to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Provide technical input and documentation to support project decision-making.

• Ability to operate computer-aided design (CAD) software and manual drafting workstations

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Drafter or in a similar role (fresh graduates with strong CAD skills may be considered).
• Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Experience in preparing design documentation, reports, and material lists.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD )and other relevant design tools.
• Practical understanding of manufacturing and construction processes will be an added advantage.
