Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings, sketches & specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for gas abatement systems.
• Produce assembly drawings based on 3D models.
• Support engineers in developing design concepts and layout diagrams.
• Revise drawings based on engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Ensure designs meet industry codes (ISO, SEMI, ASME).

Overview

Responsible for preparing, updating, and managing technical drawings and engineering documentation to support design, production, and installation of Ecosys abatement systems.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in drafting, engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings, sketches & specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for gas abatement systems (piping, electrical, mechanical).
• To produce assembly drawings based on partially or fully completed 3D models.
• Support engineers in developing design concepts, layout diagrams, and BOM.
• To produce, revise and amend on production drawings for R&D testing purpose to enhance the abatement systems.
• Revise drawings based on engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Ensure designs meet industry codes (ISO, SEMI, ASME).
• Maintain accurate drawing archives and version control.
• Assist in creating technical documentation for tenders, proposals, and training manuals.
• To systematically save sketches and drawings on server, to keep the server organized, to update project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.
• To handle other tasks and duties related to drafter when requested by Superior.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical design principles.
• Detail-oriented, accuracy-driven mindset.
