Job summary

Halliburton in Malaysia is seeking an Entry-Level technician for down-hole tool electronics and related equipment. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration and inspections under supervision, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

The role may involve mechanical or electronics aptitude, basic computing, and assembly/disassembly of PSL equipment, as well as MWD/LWD tools. A technical certificate is required, and an associate degree or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent.
• An associate degree or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs repairs, maintenance, calibration and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment.
• Ensure duties are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
• May specialize in mechanical/electronics aptitude, computer skills, and assembly/disassembly of PSL equipment; Measure while Drilling or Logging While Drilling tools.
