Job Descriptions

Job Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to high standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
  2. Obtain medical and surgical history and perform physical examinations.
  3. Diagnose and explain to each patient the plan of treatment.
  4. Prescribe medication in accordance with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia's rules and guidelines.
  5. Ensure that all prescriptions include the patient's name and diagnosis, written by the respective doctor.
  6. Perform minor surgical procedures.
  7. Refer patients to Global Doctors Specialist Centre for specialist care; if unavailable, refer to other credible centers or consult the Medical Director or PIC for further management.
  8. Review reports and advise patients accordingly.
  9. Document a complete review of the patient's diagnosis, investigations, and treatment plan in the patient's file for follow-up.
  10. Assist with completing patient insurance claim forms as needed.
  11. Prepare medical reports upon request.
  12. Promote preventive medicine and encourage health screenings.
  13. Conduct assessments, follow-ups, and ward rounds for hospital inpatients.
  14. Handover inpatient follow-up reports and information to the next doctor on duty after each shift.
  15. Punctuality: arrive on time and leave at the stipulated time; late arrivals should notify the person in charge to avoid salary deductions.
  16. Take additional responsibilities as instructed by immediate superiors.
  17. Follow the scope of authority as per work process procedures.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in any discipline or equivalent from reputable universities.
  2. Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written).
  3. Results-oriented with strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
  4. Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels of people.
