Job summary

UOB United Overseas Bank Limited, through its InnoHub2 in Malaysia, is seeking a Data Lost Prevention Analyst to monitor, analyze and investigate insider threats and data leakage within the Group Security Operations Center.

The role requires 3–5 years in cybersecurity, with 1–2 years in DLP; familiarity with PCI DSS, PDPA and GDPR; and hands-on use of DLP platforms such as McAfee, Purview, and Forcepoint. You will contribute to risk assessments and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience with 1–2 years in DLP or data protection in financial institutions.
• Good understanding of banking regulatory requirements and data classification standards.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise DLP platforms such as McAfee, Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily DLP monitoring activities to protect sensitive financial and customer data from unauthorized exposure.
• Apply and follow established DLP policies aligned with banking regulations (PCI DSS, PDPA, GDPR).
• Support incident response by investigating alerts related to customer PII and financial records.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and IT Security teams for investigations and audits.
• Participate in risk assessments and suggest improvements to DLP processes and tools.
• Prepare and maintain DLP monitoring reports and escalate significant incidents.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing through documentation updates.
