Job summary
SEGi University invites a senior academic administrator to oversee the School of IT (SOIT) and drive academic development across related departments in Malaysia. The role focuses on coordinating teaching, services, and industry-aligned projects to strengthen IT education and student outcomes.
The candidate should hold a PhD in Computer Science/IT/Data Sciences, with 8–10 years of education leadership experience, and be proficient in English.
Qualifications
- PhD required in Computer Science / IT / Data Sciences, or a relevant field; basic degree must be in CS/IT/Data Sciences.
- 8–10 years of working/teaching experience in education and in a managerial role.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; familiarity with MQ A and SETARA/MyQuest requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate teaching, services and activities for the School of IT (SOIT) and academic affairs development for all relevant departments.
- Assist the Dean to plan, coordinate and develop business development activities through market and industrial research, and projects to improve student growth for SOIT.
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing on smart partnerships, projects, seminars and forums.
- Be responsible for programmes development and the financial profitability of SOIT programmes.
