As the Head of Product Quality Management for the ATV QM site in Melaka, you will be responsible for leading and developing the product quality function, focusing on package, backend (BE), and test-related quality challenges. You will establish Melaka as a local knowledge hub for product quality, driving strategy, deploying processes, and ensuring alignment with global and local business lines (BL HV, SP, HX). You will lead PL QM teams, define responsibilities, optimize competencies, and develop talent pipelines to meet organizational and market needs. Your role is critical in ensuring robust quality management across ratio, transfer, and change projects for power devices, supporting discrete power product development and sustainment activities.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Head the Product Quality Management for ATV QM site Melaka
- Focus on QM tasks related to package, BE, and test challenges
- Manage QM for Ratio, Transfer, and Change Projects of power devices for BLs HV, SP
- Oversee discrete power product development and sustainment for BL HX
- Define ADEGo requirements and support package reliability efforts at ATV
- Establish a local knowledge hub for product quality at ATV QM, building resources to support BL HV and SP, and leading functional PL QM teams
- Define and implement the strategy and mandate for MEL ATV QM with the ATV QM board
- Establish local leadership with global responsibilities
- Develop a clear site strategy, assign functional ownership to Melaka, optimize competencies, and create local career paths
- Leverage local networks to attract top talent from universities and promote local career opportunities across functions and sites, aligned with the local employment market
- Clarify responsibilities, avoid overlaps or gaps, and define task ownership with legal and functional managers
- Define and deploy the strategy and mandate for MEL ATV QM with the ATV QM board
Your ProfileYou are well-suited if you have:
- Over 10 years of leadership experience in quality management or technical roles
- Understanding of Lean product development
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience with implementing changes and organizational development, along with basic business and customer knowledge
- An entrepreneurial, customer-oriented mindset
- Good understanding of internal interfaces (Operations, PLs & BLs, Finance) and contribution to business results
- Leadership experience through projects or programs, ideally in an intercultural, global context
- Strong skills to handle complex situations and focus on results
- Networking skills with key partners within ATV QM, ATV SPM, central QM, regional ATV QM, other divisions, FE/BE OPC
