The PMI and Transformation Office, situated within the CEO’s Office, is a passionate group of problem solvers at Grab who work on the most critical issues different countries, functions and verticals are tackling. Our projects range from new business launches to large scale transformation programs.The team is involved in strategising as well as on the ground execution of initiatives in alignment with multiple cross functional stakeholders. As an added mandate, the team is responsible for leading and managing post merger integrations, periodic investment reviews and supporting the due diligence phases for potential mergers and acquisitions.

Reporting to the Head, PMI and Transformation Office, you will have the opportunity to build strategy, create high impact change and have unparalleled exposure to senior management, working across a range of verticals and functions within SEA.

This role is based onsite at Grab One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Project Delivery: Expected to act as Project Leaders for Transformation / PMI projects responsible for framing the problem statement, outlining approach and delivery timelines and driving the project team to successful execution

Transformation Projects:

  • End- to-end ownership and execution of projects across workstreams
  • Understand the business requirements and define the project approach
  • Work and align with cross functional stakeholders to achieve the desired project goals
  • Ensure timely execution of the projects and completion of project deliverables

Post merger integration:

  • Support in due diligence of deals, stress testing of synergies and deal thesis, outlining post merger integration plan
  • Lead post merger integration ensuring key milestones are met across various workstreams and value capture targets are achieved
  • Run periodic reviews of past investments.

Stakeholder Management

  • Guide project team to conduct data driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations
  • Influence decision making for Grab senior leadership in navigating complex problems
  • Guide and coach reports and project team members

Thought Partnership

  • Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders and provide domain/ project expertise knowledge when needed
  • Beyond project delivery & scope, pro-actively contribute towards problem identification and resolution for overall improvement & optimisation

The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant fields
  • At least 10 or more years of prior experience in Management/strategy consulting/tech - F&B, payments, e-commerce businesses
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work and navigate through dynamic/ complex environment
  • Self-driven and motivated individual who can drive project progress
  • Willingness to travel across Grab’s markets in SEA
  • Strong interpersonal/ communications skills to be able to articulate problems and obtain buy-ins from different teams
  • Experience in deal due diligence, post merger integrations is a plus
