What will I be doing?
  • Lead, train, and mentor the spa team to deliver exceptional services, ensure high guest satisfaction, and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage team scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing development to keep a motivated and skilled team.
  • Operational Efficiency & Quality Control: Oversee day-to-day spa operations, maintain high standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and service in all areas from treatment rooms to public spaces.
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with hotel and legal standards.
  • Ensure guest interactions reflect the highest standards of hospitality and wellness, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and enhance spa treatments and services, tailoring offerings to guest preferences.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to promote spa services, packages, and special offers to drive guest engagement and spa revenue.
  • Develop new programs and initiatives to increase guest participation and build long-term client relationships.
  • Inventory & Resource Management: Manage spa supplies, products, and equipment inventory with timely reordering and cost control, maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure all treatment products meet guest expectations.
  • Financial & Budget Management: Manage the spa’s financial performance, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue generation while preserving guest experience.
  • Analyze financial data to develop strategies for increasing profitability while maintaining or improving guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales) to ensure seamless operations and promote spa services to hotel guests.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for special events and promotions that enhance the spa experience.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in spa management with preference for luxury or hotel environments.
  • Pre-opening experience is an added advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in spa management or wellness programs.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, products, and emerging wellness trends.
  • Well-versed in health and safety regulations and proficient in spa operations.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing innovative spa marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasts, and revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
