Classification/Level: Department Manager Level 2-3 ($88,400.00 - $135,200.00)
Employment Status: Term Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
M’Chigeeng First Nation is committed to strengthening the well-being of children, youth, and their families through culturally appropriate prevention programming that promotes healthy lifestyles and a safe, caring, community.
The Director reports directly to Enaagdenjged, maintains communication with Chief & Council, and collaborates with all Departments within M’Chigeeng First Nation.
The Director manages the Health and Wellness Department, implementing strategic plans aligned with budgets, policies, and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing programs, managing funding agreements with Federal and Provincial governments, and supervising department staff.
Preferred: Masters in Health/Social Services, 5+ years senior management experience, First Aid/CPR, valid driver’s license, clear CPIC and Vulnerable Sector check.
Minimum: Degree in Health or Social Services, senior management experience in a First Nation context.
