Job Description

1. Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department
2. Direct and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management functions
3. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
4. Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
5. Prepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses
6. Analyze financial outlooks and prepare financial forecasts
7. Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
9. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
10. Maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives
11. Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
2. Additional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position, or 2 years in a similar capacity
4. High degree of professionalism with strong business acumen
5. Excellent proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
6. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial reporting systems
7. Fully conversant with accounting principles and financial regulations
