Job Description
  • Build and lead a world-class manufacturing organization that embraces continuous improvement and consistently meets company and customer expectations.
  • Provide strategic direction to cross-functional teams in alignment with corporate and functional goals, including processes such as strategic growth systems, operational reviews, and annual planning.
  • Oversee execution of plans related to order fulfillment, capacity planning, profitability, productivity, quality enhancement, and talent development.
  • Manage capital expenditure planning and operational budgeting, with a strong focus on margin improvement and cost control.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process optimization, including rationalization and outsourcing strategies to enhance performance.
  • Develop scalable, well-documented, and controlled processes to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing performance, providing insights and updates to stakeholders for effective decision-making.
  • Foster a positive work environment that reflects the company\'s core values and supports employee development through communication, training, and recognition.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards as well as local and international regulations.
  • Serve as the registered leader for the site entity, overseeing corporate affairs and representing the company in public engagements and media interactions.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 12 years in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 8 years in a managerial role
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Solid business acumen and strategic thinking to support operational and financial goals.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including GAAP and SOX.
  • Experience in change management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage through ambiguity and transformation.
  • Skilled in materials management, procurement, and supplier negotiations.
  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO9000, ISO13485, ISO14001), EH&S compliance, ERP systems, and trade regulations.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical, financial, and legal documents.
  • Understanding of analytical instrument and medical device manufacturing processes.
