The Role: We seek a professional with a global perspective, strategic thinking, and business insight to lead our organization into the future as the Director of Global People Analytics. This strategic leadership position emphasizes the importance of data-informed decision-making to increase the effectiveness of organizational initiatives. This role combines analytical expertise with a focus on measuring the impact of People Strategy and People Programs.

Location: This position, which may be based in Asia (India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan), where Micron has a presence, will report to the Vice President, People Strategy, Technology, and Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of a strategic vision for people data and analytics.

  2. Develop strong partnerships with program owners, business partners, and leaders to create relevant and actionable insights on our people and programs.

  3. Develop and implement data governance structures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of people data.

  4. Present complex business processes as easy-to-understand stories and insights on their impact and opportunities to increase value delivery.

  5. Use data-driven listening techniques to improve employee experience.

  6. Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce trends, employee engagement, performance, and talent acquisition data.

  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for Micron’s People Programs.

  8. Build an analytics culture by communicating the value of analytics to management and executives and establishing learning pathways to increase data literacy within the organization.

  9. Collaborate with other analytics and technology functions to share best practices, insights, and increase adoption of enterprise analytics technologies.

  10. Stay up to date on the latest trends in people data and analytics, particularly emerging trends in AI for analytics.

You Are:

  1. Embodies ownership and thought leadership, guiding, coaching, and mentoring team members regionally and globally. You have a profound grasp of numbers, enabling deep data analysis to identify talent gaps and drive data-informed decision-making.

  2. Committed to scaling operations through quality, processes, tools, and data governance. Your pace is swift, your thinking clear, and you influence business acumen, adopting a consultative style to leverage data and analytics. As an inspirational leader, you motivate and lead by example, setting standards for excellence and innovation.

  3. Your impact is organizationally significant, helping to grow data acumen and informed decision-making within the People Organization and beyond.

Requirements:

  1. At least five years of experience as an analytics leader in an enterprise environment where people data is collected from multiple systems into a central data warehouse. Experience with systems like Workday, Eightfold, Visier, ServiceNow, and Glint is highly beneficial.

  2. Expertise in leveraging data and analytics to contribute to a comprehensive talent strategy and large-scale transformation.

  3. Experience as a consultant and comfort as a facilitator.

  4. Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning to stay at the forefront of behavioral science and organizational performance research and trends.

  5. A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).

  6. Exceptional business acumen to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders and external partners.

  7. Commitment to continual learning demonstrated through ongoing education or self-directed learning.

  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  9. Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% to fulfill role responsibilities.
