1. Regional and Global Expansion (ASEAN, Asia & Global Markets):
Formulate and implement a robust business development strategy for ABS’s international market penetration and regional presence.
Cultivate institutional partnerships and alliances across ASEAN, wider Asia, the Middle East, and other high-potential global markets.
Lead market entry initiatives including feasibility studies, regulatory alignment, partnership models, and localization strategies.
Represent ABS at international forums, exhibitions, and high-level business meetings to promote institutional presence and brand prestige.
2. Domestic Market Leadership & Client Management (Malaysia):
Sustain, enrich, and grow ABS’s domestic business portfolio through deep engagement with Malaysian banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Maintain strong client servicing structures and follow-up mechanisms to support long-term relationships and repeat business.
Lead targeted client acquisition campaigns and institutional outreach to ensure continuous business growth in Malaysia.
3. Business Development in Singapore:
Develop ABS’s institutional footprint in Singapore through strategic partnerships, training initiatives, and market alliances.
Identify and engage key stakeholders within Singapore’s banking, fintech, and financial services sectors to position ABS as a trusted regional training provider.
Work closely with regulatory and industry bodies in Singapore to align offerings with local needs and standards.
4. Marketing Strategy and Brand Development:
Design and execute an integrated marketing strategy that builds ABS’s brand identity and enhances visibility across all target markets.
Oversee the production and distribution of marketing and communication materials including thought leadership content, campaign assets, and brand stories.
Supervise events, seminars, and public engagement activities that elevate ABS’s brand among target clientele and industry leaders.
5. Digital Business and Portal Commercialization:
Lead the marketing and business development strategy for ABS’s Digital Learning Portal and digital education initiatives.
Identify commercialization opportunities, including B2B and B2C sales pipelines, licensing, and white-label arrangements.
Collaborate with product, technology, and academic teams to ensure digital offerings align with market demand and global best practices.
6. Strategic Projects and Special Initiatives:
Spearhead strategic special projects and Board-approved initiatives that contribute to institutional transformation and growth.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to implement high-level projects such as consortium engagements, new product launches, and strategic alliances.
7. Leadership and Team Development:
Build and manage a high-performing business development and marketing team.
Foster a results-driven, innovative, and collaborative work culture.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership development for team members.
8. Financial and Performance Management:
Establish and monitor business development and marketing KPIs aligned with organizational strategy.
Track budgets, ROI metrics, and conversion rates to ensure operational and financial effectiveness.
Report regularly to the CEO and EXCO on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Strategic business acumen with global vision.
Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, and brand development.
Strong financial literacy and performance tracking capability.
Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
Experiences:
Minimum 10–15 years of senior experience in business development, strategic marketing, or corporate leadership in the banking, financial services, or executive education sector.
Proven success in leading business growth across ASEAN and international markets.
Experience in engaging C-level executives, regulators, and global institutions.
Demonstrated ability in digital business development and managing commercial platforms or portals.
Strong project management and cross-border partnership development experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA or equivalent Master’s degree is strongly preferred).
