Job Role: Digital Solutions Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Engineer to join our Construction Department. With 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, you will leverage digital technologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and performance in our Oil & Gas construction projects. You will collaborate with various teams to integrate, deploy, and maintain digital tools, ensuring we remain industry leaders and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Digital Transformation in Construction: Drive the adoption of digital tools like BIM, IoT sensors, drones, and digital twins to optimize workflows, scheduling, and quality control.
2. Technology Integration and Customization: Work with project teams to seamlessly integrate digital solutions throughout all project phases.
3. Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics tools to analyze real-time project data for informed decision-making and proactive issue resolution.
4. Field Data Integration: Ensure IoT devices, sensors, and drone technologies are integrated for real-time data collection and monitoring.
5. Digital Tools Training and Support: Lead training initiatives to maximize the effective use of digital solutions.
6. Collaboration Across Departments: Work with IT, operations, engineering, and management to identify and address technology gaps.
7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging digital technologies and recommend new tools or processes.
8. System Testing and Maintenance: Oversee deployment, testing, and maintenance of digital systems across construction sites.
9. Reporting and Documentation: Develop reports and presentations for leadership on progress and digital solutions effectiveness.
10. Additional Contributions: Upgrade digital tools, manage user access, develop dashboards, assist in workflow development, and manage software development and training.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience:
• 5-7 years in digital solutions, IT engineering, or similar roles within Oil & Gas or construction, focusing on digital project management.
• Proven record in deploying digital solutions like BIM, GIS, CAD, and project management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with IoT, drones, real-time data analytics, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with system administration (PIMS, Go-Tech, ECOM, Hexagon, QOC), database engineering, Power BI, Excel, SQL, and software development.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction workflows and digital solutions' impact on performance.
• Advanced data analysis and visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency in software integration, system troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects.
