A prominent digital marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced digital marketer to lead marketing planning, brand development, and content marketing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and possess strong skills in market research and branding. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for marketing planning, including brand development.

Overview

Digital marketing is a newer job in the age of social media and the internet. Almost every single industry needs digital marketers in order to stay relevant in today\'s society. The digital marketer is responsible for a large portion of the business\'s online presence. Whether they are focused on social media or website development is up to the business. Digital marketing is a term that casts a wide net and can include a lot of different responsibilities. A digital marketer could become a marketing manager one day if they work hard enough.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for marketing planning including Brand development and Brand building as well as Content marketing.
  • Perform market research, identify suitable channels, and propose media buying plan to penetrate new markets as well as existing market like Vietnam.
  • Generate content for the purpose of content marketing and review content by working closely with the Content Writing team.
  • Coordinate marketing material, manage marketing-related administrative tasks with Marketing Manager.
  • Formulating and execution of the PR/Marketing strategies. Handle media, bloggers, webinar, workshop as well as digital inquiries and requests.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager & Marketing Team including Performance Marketing, Content Team & Design Team to develop effective strategies to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with various internal parties and external cooperation partners to ensure marketing campaigns can run smoothly and achieve ROI.
  • Coordinate different kinds of marketing activities such as exhibitions/marketing events/promotion campaigns if needed.
  • Business travel may be required depending on the needs of business.
Qualifications
  • Min. 5 years of digital marketing experience is required.
  • Digital Marketing experience combined with solid Brand Building experience from 0-1 and 1-10 is mandatory.
  • Hands-on regional exposure in SEA/APAC/LATAM/EMEA.
  • Experience in Content Writing & Editing is ideal.
  • Basic SEO knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with online analytical tools will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Read & write in Thai language will be an added advantage.
  • Open to locals and expats based at Malaysia Only.
