Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate social media, paid advertising, and search engine marketing (SEM). This role will work closely with various internal teams and external vendors to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate leads across multiple digital platforms.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Management
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content across all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogs, etc).
  • Collaborate closely with relevant internal stakeholders, peers, third-party channels, and vendors for social media-relevant tasks, including promoting and executing marketing campaigns, negotiating quotes and agreements, and holding accountability on the social media calendar.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Paid Advertising
    • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
    • Collaborate & align the paid advertising strategies with the yearly regional communication plans.
    • Work closely with the respective Segment Marketing Manager and the regional Marketing Managers to support the marketing initiatives.
    • Conduct keyword searches, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to enhance campaign effectiveness.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of paid campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Manage advertising budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives.
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
    • Undertake content marketing initiatives and design content marketing strategy to establish the industry's authority and position the products as the solutions.
    • Work with Segment Marketing & Marcom teams and other relevant key stakeholders to create engaging content i.e, case studies, infographics
    • Design and implement creative marketing strategies to distribute the content on the appropriate platforms and measure the results, i.e., drive awareness, subscribers, and leads.
    • Produce high-quality artwork designs and accurate content by proofreading and improving the content regularly to ensure customers & prospects receive up-to-date and relevant product information to keep MSA in mind. Contents included all digital assets i.e, e-Newsletter, eMailer, images, banner ads, videos, social media posts, blog posts, etc
    • Distribute content according to where it will have the greatest impact, whether on our website, blog, third-party partner website/platform, social media platforms, emails, print, or internal communications.
    • Automate and schedule content delivery in social media management platforms and MarTech tools.
    • Coordinate closely with relevant key stakeholders and vendors or agencies to design and create collateral that provides value to the target audience, such as flyers, brochures, catalogues, playbooks, banners, videos, etc.
    • Maintain a good depository of all final content and collateral, i.e, uploading to the in-house resources centre, SharePoint
  • Website Content Management
    • Update and maintain website content to ensure it is current, relevant, and optimized for search engines.
    • Collaborate with Segment Marketing teams to ensure website content aligns with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Monitor website performance and user engagement, making necessary adjustments to improve user experience and SEO.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Oversee promotional items' purchasing and inventory management to ensure adequate stock level and timely replenishment.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, secure competitive pricing, and ensure the quality of promotional materials.
    • Maintain an organized inventory system to track promotional items, monitor usage, and manage distribution.
    • Update and organize the internal/external multimedia library of MSA.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field with 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing (ideally in B2B industry)
    • Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and social media marketing.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
    • Sharp focus on detail and timeline management.
    • Ability to work within a deadline-oriented, fast paced team environment.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
    • Demonstrable experience with copywriting, Google Ads, PPC, Paid Social, and marketplace advertising.
