Queens College Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to lead digital campaigns aimed at promoting their educational programmes. The Digital Marketing Executive will lead and implement digital campaigns to promote Queens College’s education programmes—particularly the Work-Based Learning (WBL) Diplomas. This role requires strong knowledge in SEO, graphic design, and strategic ad placements across various digital platforms. The candidate will support the institution’s digital visibility, student recruitment, and brand positioning locally and regionally.
Key Responsibilities
·Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) for student recruitment.
·Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve ROI and lead conversions.
·Perform on-page and off-page SEO to improve website rankings for key diploma programmes.
·Conduct keyword research and optimize content for visibility.
·Design compelling visuals, posters, and digital creatives for campaigns, events, and social media.
·Maintain brand consistency across all digital assets.
·Develop engaging content (copywriting, reels, infographics) for social platforms and landing pages.
·Collaborate with academic and programme leads for thought leadership content.
·Manage and update the college website with new programme information, visuals, and blog content.
·Coordinate with developers to enhance user experience and lead capture flows.
·Manage and grow Queens College’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
·Plan and schedule content calendars aligned with academic cycles and student interests.
·Track campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.
·Prepare monthly reports on traffic, engagement, and leads generated.
·Support marketing efforts for student events, open days, and roadshows in collaboration with the academic and operations teams.
·Liaise with creative agencies and media partners when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in digital marketing or related roles. Experience in the education sector is a plus.
Technical Skills:
·Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent design tools.
·Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs), Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager.
·Knowledge of website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
·Creative and detail-oriented
·Good communication and project management skills
·Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Added Advantages
·Prior experience marketing education programmes or student recruitment.
·Knowledge in lead funnel setup and conversion optimization.
·Familiarity with student personas such as post-SPM, working adults, and international students.
