Job Title: Digital Marketing & Communications Executive

Location: PARKROYAL Penang Resort

Overview:

PARKROYAL Penang Resort is looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing & Communications Executive to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in strengthening our brand presence online, increasing engagement across digital platforms, and driving direct bookings through effective digital campaigns and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and engagement.
  • Create compelling content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and XiaoHongShu (小红书).
  • Oversee email marketing initiatives and website content, ensuring SEO best practices are implemented to maximise visibility and conversions.
  • Optimise landing pages and user funnels to improve online lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Edit short-form videos and digital content for marketing use, ensuring brand consistency and relevance.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging social media strategies and ensure brand alignment across all digital touchpoints.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using digital analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of digital trends, emerging platforms, and audience behaviours to keep strategies fresh and relevant.
  • Support the execution of paid online advertising campaigns on relevant platforms.

Requirements:

  • Experience in branding, content creation or digital marketing.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in video editing, content scripting, and copywriting for digital platforms.
  • Solid understanding of local digital landscape and audience preferences, especially on platforms like XiaoHongShu, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Hands-on experience managing multiple social media accounts and content calendars.
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual storytelling.
  • Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Required language: English and Mandarin for both written and spoken.
