Job description

MILA University is currently seeking executives to provide administrative services, operational, and technical support to its Teaching and Learning vertical.

Digital Learning Executive provides technical support to the academic staff and students in the utilization of the University’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other educational tools. The role involves communicating with the IT Department and vendors to troubleshoot users’ technical problems.

The incumbent will report to the Head, Centre for Digital Learning.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide guidance and problem-solving solutions related to the usage of LMS and other educational tools to internal stakeholders.
  2. Monitor the performance and updates to the LMS and educational tools and take necessary actions.
  3. Communicate updates and changes to LMS and educational tools to relevant stakeholders.
  4. Make recommendations to management to enhance the LMS and tools for better e-learning delivery.
  5. Provide administrative support to the Head, Centre for Digital Learning, in managing external vendors.
  6. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Head.

Requirements

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in IT with at least two (2) years of technical experience in higher education. Candidates with a diploma and at least three (3) years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in using LMS and other educational tools and systems.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word and Excel); experience with educational systems is preferred.
  • Skills in multimedia software are a plus.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
