The Digital and IT Analyst primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining IT systems and end-user environments for KL aerospace component MRO facility, with potential support across multiple locations. The position involves Tier 2 level troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as direct support for internal stakeholders. A key part of the role is resolving technical issues, supporting business-critical applications, ensuring IT security compliance, and helping drive digital solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive technical support to all users, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to software, hardware, serves, switches, firewalls, printers and other related devices in a timely and professional manner.

· Administer and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network, ensuring continuous uptime, optimal performance and adherence to cybersecurity standards.

· Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software across user workstations, servers, and other IT infrastructure to meet operational and security requirements.

· Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, connectivity issues and application malfunctions, coordinating with external vendors or corporate/ division IT teams when necessary.

· Develop or support the development of custom tools and applications to automate manual processes, improve data accuracy and increase operational efficiency in the business environment.

· Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and ensure effective data backup procedures and disaster recovery readiness.

· Provide technical support for corporate and divisional applications, including MRO-specific systems, ERP platforms and reporting tools; act as a point of contact between site users and Corporate/ Divisional IT teams.

· Document IT procedures, system configurations, troubleshooting steps and asset inventories, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible for team reference and audits.

· Participate in or lead IT-related projects, including system upgrades, network improvements, software rollouts and process optimization initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to operations.

· Support compliance and cybersecurity efforts, including user training, vulnerability assessments, and enforcement of IT policies within the local site.

· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up user accounts, configuring IT assets, granting appropriate access rights and conducting IT orientation for new employees.

· Communicate and collaborate with Corporate/ Division IT departments, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards, policies and strategic initiatives.

· Manage user permissions and access controls for internal systems, shared drives and enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and IT security best practices.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years of IT support or system administration experience, experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Proficient in Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), Microsoft Office 365, VMWare, Azure DevOps, DHCP, DNS, GPO and other key technical connectivity protocols.

Scripting or application development knowledge (e.g.,PowerShell, Python, VB, Power Automate, Data Flow, Data Marts, PowerBI, SQL quesries or web tools) is desirable.

Customer service focused with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Conditions

Based at an aerospace MRO facility; may require occasional travel to other sites.

Some after-hours support may be needed for system maintenance or urgent issues.

Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple teams across the different continents.
