Accenture has an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced media planning/buying Agency industry expert, with sales leadership experience or acumen, as we expand our team in KL, Malaysia. We are looking for an online performance marketing expert, with significant experience in the Agency/Reseller ecosystem for online social media advertising planning and buying. The successful candidate for the Agency Lead (AL) role will also have experience managing and coaching managers, driving business results, operational rigor, and working successfully with multiple internal and external stakeholders, notably media agency partners.

Success in this position requires developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Accenture Program Function Lead (FL) as a trusted second-in-command. It also involves building and maintaining collaboration with our Client Industry Sales Managers to co-design and implement successful sales strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities
  1. Leading scaled growth for all agency agreements in place.
  2. Management oversight of Sales Managers within span of control.
  3. Collaborating closely with the Agency Industry Sales Manager to design and implement strategic and tactical sales plans.
  4. Taking ownership and responsibility for executing those sales plans through Sales Managers and Sales Reps.
  5. Building and maintaining an optimal sales execution environment focused on People, Processes, Performance, and Productivity (4P’s).
  6. Achieving quarterly KPI/OKR and revenue targets rolled up from team and individual performance.
  7. Driving a culture of ownership, innovation, quality, and operational rigor within span of control.
  8. Analyzing revenue/OKR performance data to identify and drive actions impacting targets.
  9. Supporting preparation and delivery of regular insights into business performance and outlook, including weekly reviews.
  10. Creating and maintaining positive employee engagement in a high-performance environment.
  11. Owning specific priority initiatives such as churn reduction and new product launches focused on driving lower funnel advertising revenue based on conversion performance.
Qualifications
  1. Native-level fluency in Mandarin is required.
  2. 10+ years of professional experience in digital media planning/buying, online advertising, or sales leadership within the agency industry.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams of managers.
  4. Experience with enterprise or key account management is a distinct advantage.
  5. Experience working with agencies or advertisers exporting internationally from Greater China is advantageous.
  6. Deadline and detail-oriented.
  7. Strong analytical, reporting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  8. Ability to analyze business data and suggest improvements.
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  10. Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and collaboration tools like Office/G-Suite is preferred.
