About the role

Tian Siang Premium Auto Sdn Bhd, a leading automotive repair and maintenance provider in Butterworth, Penang, is seeking a talented Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician / Team Leader to join our skilled team. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and high-quality repair of our clients' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing thorough inspections and diagnoses of vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
2. Repairing and rebuilding mechanical components, engines, and electrical systems
3. Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns
4. Maintaining detailed records of work completed and parts used
5. Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 1 - 2 years experience as a Diagnostic Technician / Team Leader / Mechanic in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and industry regulations
