Accenture PLC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support a large-scale core banking and payments transformation.

This hands-on role designs, builds, secures, and continuously improves CI/CD pipelines across the software development lifecycle, working with Development, Testing, Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to enable secure, reliable application delivery.

Formación

• 9 to 15 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps or related fields.
• Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and environments.
• Experience integrating security scanning and automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on cloud, containerisation, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Embed automated security controls throughout the SDLC using shift-left security principles.
• Configure and manage DevSecOps tooling for source control, code quality, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, packaging, and artefact management.
• Integrate automated unit, integration, regression, and security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Git-based version control, branching strategies, pull/merge requests, and release processes.
• Improve pipeline performance, build times, deployment reliability, and release efficiency.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, environment problems, and production delivery blockers.
• Support secure application deployments across multiple environments throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Work closely with Security and Architecture teams to embed vulnerability management, security scanning, and compliance controls into delivery workflows.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and environment provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.
• Maintain clear documentation covering pipeline configurations, operational procedures, tooling, and runbooks.
• Evaluate new DevSecOps technologies and recommend opportunities to improve automation, security, scalability, and deployment reliability.

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support a large-scale core banking and payments transformation programmed.

This is a hands‑on technical role responsible for designing, building, securing, and continuously improving CI/CD pipelines across the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with Development, Testing, Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to enable secure, reliable, and efficient application delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience across the DevSecOps toolchain, cloud platforms, containerisation, Infrastructure as Code, security automation, and CI/CD, with a continuous improvement and problem‑solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.

Technical Skills

We are looking for candidates with hands‑on experience across several of the following areas:

• CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Version Control: Git, branching strategies, pull requests and merge workflows
• Security: SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, OWASP ZAP or similar SAST/DAST and vulnerability scanning tools
• Artefact Management: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus Repository or equivalent
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation or equivalent
• Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Testing Automation: Integration of unit, integration, regression, and security testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or equivalent
• Security Practices: Shift-left security, vulnerability management, secrets management, dependency scanning, and secure software delivery

Qualifications & Experience

• 9 to 15 years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps, DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related software/infrastructure engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and environments.
• Practical experience integrating security scanning and automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud, containerisation, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve pipeline, infrastructure, environment, and deployment issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across Development, Testing, Security, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Good to Have

• Experience working within Banking, Payments, Financial Services, FinTech, or other highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to core banking or payments transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting high‑availability, business‑critical production environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent credentials.
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements applicable to regulated financial‑services technology environments.
