Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up and configure DevOps toolsets, prioritizing Jenkins, and including tools such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, Sonarqube, and Veracode.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective DevOps solutions.
  • Write and maintain scripts using Groovy, Unix/Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, and SQL to automate tasks and improve workflows.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain version control systems and workflows using tools like Bitbucket.
  • Perform regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest DevOps practices and tools, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years of DevOps experience.
  • Strong experience in setting up and configuring DevOps toolsets, particularly Jenkins, and familiarity with other tools like Bitbucket, Artifactory, Sonarqube, and Veracode.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Groovy, Unix/Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design efficient processes.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including the setup and configuration of Jenkins pipelines.
  • Experience with Unix, Linux, and NT operating systems.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with BMC Control M, Oracle Wallet, PPRC, Data Guard, Kafka, Zookeeper, Spark, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, IBM MQ, Apache, HTTP, Kerberos, HDFS, and HBase/Hive.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards within the DevOps domain.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for maintaining system health and performance.

This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and a keen interest in maintaining compliance within a DevOps environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions.
