About the Client

Our client is a leading Australian payment solutions provider, headquartered in Melbourne with expansion in Kuala Lumpur and established operations across Mainland China and Hong Kong. They streamline billing for businesses of all sizes by offering a comprehensive suite of payment services, including merchant acquiring, direct debit, online credit card payments, and BPAY.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in operations, automation, and cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our production, UAT, and testing environments. You will develop and maintain automation tools, monitor system performance, and contribute to PCI compliance efforts.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Draft, maintain, and update technical documentation, and help establish standardized operational procedures.
  • Manage and deploy production, testing, and UAT environments.
  • Perform routine system checks, monitor alerts, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system health and availability.
  • Manage infrastructure monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and SkyWalking.
  • Lead and support PCI DSS audits, including regular vulnerability scanning and documentation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment reliability.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, IT operations, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CKA, or PCI related certifications) are a plus.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language: Shell, Python, or Golang.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and SkyWalking.
  • Familiar with at least one CI tool (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud service providers, especially AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and architecture.
  • Experience deploying and managing services such as Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, especially TCP/IP and HTTP.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of handling incidents independently.
  • Previous experience with PCI DSS compliance is highly preferred.
