- Design and improve the IT infrastructure to get releases to market quicker, notably by building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure and automating development and release processes
- In collaboration with QA teams, drive performance testing and benchmarking to assess the performance and reliance of our systems
- Optimize release cycles, notably by suggesting evolutions to existing processes
- Monitor time to market and time to minimize, document these and share with stakeholders
- Ensure that security remains at the core of all DevOps processes
Requirements:
Education and Experience
Required:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a scalable production environment, ideally built on AWS
- 5+ years of experience in programming and infrastructure development
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies, API and microservices development, scripting, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), MongoDB, Postgres, Grafana, Terraform
- Solid knowledge of Agile and DevOps development processes and software development lifecycle, as well as tools used to manage backlog and track iterations (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Familiar with CI/CD, including experience of continuous integration environments such as Jenkins
- Experience with source code management (e.g. Git) and repository hosting (e.g. Github)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in both waterfall and Agile setups
Preferred:
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in QA or testing
- AWS or Agile / DevOps certifications
- Experience in serverless application development, monitoring, feature toggling, A/B testing, performance testing, chaos engineering, blue/green or canary deployments
- Experience working with Ansible

- Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to lead and to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of functions, including non-IT ones

- Ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced environment, being a team player while capable of working independently
- Ability to work outside normal business hours with different time zones and travel if necessary
