Job summary

Matrixport is hiring for an AWS DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on reliability, automation, and continuous delivery across our cloud platform.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevOps with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab/Jenkins/ArgoCD. You will collaborate with global teams to optimize systems and drive new tech adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience in AWS and cloud operations/maintenance.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Python or Go and web frameworks (Django/Vue).

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Responsibilities:

• 1.Responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure of AWS cloud platform, and ensure its high availability and flexibility;
• 2.Responsible for DevOps system planning and implementation, continuous delivery CI/CD process design, development and implementation, automation and platform;
• 3.Research and evaluate new technologies to improve system performance as well as reliability;

Job Requirements:

• 1.bachelor degree or above, graduated from computer or related majors, with good technical skills, 3 years and above working experience;
• 2. with AWS and other cloud platform operation and maintenance experience;
• 3. proficient in Docker container technology, k8s technology, more than 2 years Kubernetes deployment, optimization, operation and maintenance experience;
• 4. proficient in CI/CD continuous integration and continuous delivery; familiar with Gitlab, Jenkins, Argocd, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana and other tools;.
• 5.Have strong Troubleshooting ability, able to quickly locate the problem;
• 6. proficient in at least one language Python, Go, etc., to understand the Web front and back-end development and common frameworks, such as Django, Vue, etc.;.
• 7. in the operation and maintenance automation with certain development experience and product thinking;
• 8. good communication skills and teamwork ability;
