Job summary

EY is seeking a Front-end/Full-stack inspired developer in Kuala Lumpur to design and build end-to-end responsive interfaces for consumer-facing and employee-facing web and mobile apps. You will extend front-end functionality by calling microservices and integrating digital capabilities such as mobile payments and telematics.

You will contribute to designing and building microservices, applying best practices and scalable architectures, and collaborating with UX, requirements, and microservices

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other relevant discipline.
• Good understanding/hands-on experience building applications/platforms.
• Experience in delivering digital projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end responsive interfaces delivering world-class UX for web and mobile apps.
• Add functionality to front-end apps by invoking microservices and integrating digital capabilities such as mobile payments and telematics.
• Design and develop microservices and related integration patterns to implement the client solutions' architecture.
• Leverage best practices and tools to create efficient, reliable, scalable, high-performance code.
• Collaborate with requirements, UX, and microservices teams to deliver outputs that exceed client expectations.

Job description

In this role you will work along with our clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in modernizing systems, processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.

Your key responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibilities include designing and developing end to end responsive interfaces that deliver world class UX for consumer facing and/or employee facing web applications and mobile applications.
• You will add functionality to these front-end applications by invoking microservices and will incorporate digital capabilities such as mobile payments, telematics and so on.
• You will be responsible for design and development of microservices and related integration patterns (e.g. orchestrations, messaging patterns, event generation, data streaming) to implement the technical architecture of our client solutions.
• You will be expected to leverage your knowledge of best practices and tools in this area to create efficient, reliable, scalable and high-performance code.
• You will collaborate with functional requirements, user experience, and microservices teams to deliver high-quality output that exceeds client expectations.
• Our team works with modern technologies, including:
• Secondary Skillsets: Angular, Bootstrap 5, Tailwind, WordPress, Sitecore, Sitefinity
• Test Automation: Selenium, Appium, Playwright
• Performance Testing: LoadRunner, Apache JMeter
