Job description

Client: ID firm (Design, Build, Consultancy)
Location: KL

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the design team to ensure smooth project execution from concept through to completion.
2. Oversee space planning, conceptual design, and design development, collaborating closely with the team to brainstorm and define design direction.
3. Handle client liaison and servicing, including conducting presentations and preparing project proposals.
4. Supervise the production of construction drawings, manage tender processes, and perform site observations to ensure technical accuracy and project compliance.
5. Review and manage the team's Tender and Construction drawing packages.
6. Maintain design standards and enforce quality control across all projects.
7. Coordinate with building management, architects, and consultants to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
8. Mentor and guide the design team to foster creativity and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in Interior Design.
• Demonstrated creative flair, with a strong sense of color and excellence in design documentation.
• Exceptional space planning and layout skills.
