The Designer works closely with the copywriting team, internal account teams, and external clients, participating in all stages of the creative process to conceptualize and create assets that bring the program strategy to life across various media.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- A BA in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design, with a strong understanding of graphic design, layout, and typography.
- A portfolio reflecting experience in branding, presentations, infographics, digital/interactive, advertising, and print design.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment, and take initiative.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing work across print, digital, and social media.
- Experience with concepting highly creative designs.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Technical skills as determined by the manager, including proficiency with Mac and PC, CS5 or higher (InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, Illustrator), expert-level PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of presentation trends, Flash animation, Web design, HTML, interactive media, video editing, motion graphics, and photography.
- Perform daily design work for campaigns, news, and pop-ups, including:
- Visual storytelling across print, digital, social, and video media.
- Designing impactful PowerPoint presentations for pitches and client meetings.
- Creating client/agency collateral such as infographics, leaflets, invitations, brochures, and coverage boards.
- HTML design for invitations and newsletters (not essential).
- Logo design for client campaigns.
- Design and artwork for internal materials like stationery and staff invitations.
- Photo retouching and sourcing images.
- Managing multiple assignments in a high-pressure environment.
- Prioritizing tasks while maintaining flexibility for changing demands.
- Collaborating with project and content teams to deliver creative work efficiently.
- Communicating professionally with clients, peers, and suppliers.
- Presenting creative ideas effectively to clients.
- Understanding the concept behind creative work and its alignment with client and business goals.
