Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team, ensuring seamless project execution from concept to completion.
• Oversee space planning, conceptual design, and design development—collaborating with the team to brainstorm design direction and conceptualization.
• Client liaison & servicing, including presentations and project proposals. Supervise construction drawings, tender processes, and site observations, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Manage and review the design team’s Tender/Construction drawing packages.
• Ensure design standards and quality control across all projects.
• Coordinate with building management, architects, and consultants to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor the design team to enhance efficiency and creativity.

Qualification and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture & Design
• Min 5 to 6 years relevant experience in Interior Design
• Proven creative flair, strong color sense, and design documentation. Excellent space planning skills
• Good communication and design presentation skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and 3D software
• A good team player, committed, self-motivated
• Positive working attitude, good initiative, committed and willing to learn. Possess good communication and inter-personal skills
• Well versed in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and PowerPoint software
• Good knowledge and experience in handling Tender/Construction drawing packages and interior detailing in AutoCAD for commercial offices
• Initiative, hardworking, and responsible
